PRACTICE AREAS
The Firm maintains a general practice, with emphasis on civil law litigation. While known primarily as a "defense" law firm, the Freeark law firm has handled a significant amount of cases for the plaintiff. One of our founders Ray Freeark's beliefs was that a trial attorney should be able to try cases from "either side of the table". The lawyers of this firm have had the combined experience of handling literally thousands of personal injury cases ranging from automobile accidents to complex product liability and medical malpractice cases. The members of the firm have also had experience in handling class action litigation both for plaintiffs and defendants. We have successfully handled employment discrimination, federal tort claims, railroad grade crossing and professional liability.
For example, members of the firm recently tried a complex legal malpractice case and received a $6.9 million verdict on behalf of our clients, which was upheld on appeal. In 2008, the firm successfully tried four medical malpractice cases for the defendant-doctors, receiving four defense verdicts. In 2010, the firm has won two medical malpractice cases (jury verdicts), one for the second time after an appeal. It also settled a multi-million dollar contractor case for its client.
As a full service litigation firm we are experienced and capable with a proven track record for handling cases not just through trial but through the Appellate courts as well.
The firm is dedicated to using modern technology as part of its effort to deliver quality legal services. Whether computer aided research or a simple e-mail to keep the client up to speed on the developments of their case, the objective is still to provide the best possible service.
This law firm has been successful in its ability to represent a wide range of clients from large international corporations involved in complex litigation to individuals with domestic, employment or personal injury claims.
